Gen is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) student completing her final year of studies at Yorkville University. She is pursuing a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology, while also holding a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a specialization in Psychology from Queen’s University.
Gen’s background is in the overnight camping industry, supporting children and young adults with various mental health backgrounds and needs in an outdoor setting. She has experience as a Crisis Responder through Kids Help Phone.
Gen brings an enthusiastic and warm energy to her work, and is passionate about providing trauma-informed, holistic care to all of her clients. Through a CBT framework and strength-based approach, Gen helps empower her clients to recognize their own skills and potential. She is eager to work with clients of all ages who are experiencing issues related to anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, stress, and self-esteem.
